sudo: "user" is not in the sudoers file...

When this happens, use root to edit /etc/sudoers
Add following lines (you'd better copy %wheel lines in sudoers and
modify with following two lines):  

# Members of the admin group may gain root privileges
your_user_name ALL=(ALL) NOPASSWD: ALL
