Paper today -- "A Generic Approach to Simultaneous Tracking and Verification in Video"

Represent the paper "A Generic Approach to Simultaneous Tracking and Verification in Video", IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON IMAGE PROCESSING, VOL. 11, NO. 5, MAY 2002. All the movies for this paper can be found at here. The guy "Rama Chellappa" is famous in this field. The tracking algorithm they used is one class of Monte Carlo methods so-called sequential importance sampling (SIS) algorithm. The details of this algorithm are from another paper "Sequential Monte Carlo methods for dynamic systems” published at J. Amer. Statist. Assoc., vol. 93, pp. 1031–1041, 1998.
